Mission:
TechWORKS Foundation, Inc. was founded with the
mission to
integrate
technical talent, hardware and software resources, and
management expertise to deliver information technology
solutions to
non-profit organizations at a reasonable cost.
TechWORKS also supports educational programs that provide IT
talent to the non-profit world.
Objective:
TechWORKS recycles computer hardware, conducts computer training
programs, performs web site development and consulting
primarily
dedicated to the needs of non-profit organizations.
TechWORKS has partnered with Temple University Health
System to provide recycled computer hardware.
TechWORKS provides computer training courses in computer literacy,
internet
and World Wide Web, word processing, spreadsheets and
databases. TechWORKS' web development services are designed to help
non-profit
organizations get the exposure they need to meet their
goals and their consulting services are focused on making sure
non-profit
organizations are using technology effectively.
TechWORKS also supports educational programs that increase
IT skills available to non-profit organizaitons.
